I think that is rare but arriving early is better And when they do put another ferry in the place of the broken one it has always been a boat of smaller vehicle capacity and the WSDOT has sent out multiple warnings about that (if 140 cars have reservations but the ferry replacement only takes 115 then some reservations are not held).
